About

The biggest influence in my life for writing was my reading teachers in Junior High school. They had the class read books such as: To Kill a Mockingbird, The Odyssey, Great Expectations, Tom Sawyer. Also many short stories which included To Build a Fire, my favorite, and The Most Dangerous Game. If I had a book that influenced my life it would probably be ‘Mutiny on the Bounty’ because its theme is men standing up for what is right and fair.
As far as my work life goes I have been a manager for twenty years and been a craftsman in a miniature collectable workshop. For eighteen years I made twelfth inch scale houses, working sash windows, working doors, molded plastics, and a myriad of other wooden products. The houses sold in a price range from two hundred dollars up one hundred thousand. Also, I made such things as a quarter inch scale version of Monticello and its grounds, been involved in making a half inch scale of the old and new Supreme courts and the Jefferson State room. Monticello and the Jefferson room are in museums and the Supreme Court is in the Supreme Court building in Washington D.C. Among other things I made a twenty-seven room mansion and made people happy by recreating their childhood home.

I currently have changed focus in my life and started to write screenplays. I have six under my belt so far and they are being marketed to producers. Two have been optioned.
